The EdEN Lab at UT supports school gardens, teachers and communities through research, evaluation, and training.

Drawing on the research insights from the Austin School Garden Project, which involved more than 100 schools, we have identified successful strategies that help overcome common school garden challenges. 

 

We are currently working to collect more school garden information nationwide. By taking our survey, you'll be helping us gather wider information on best practices for school gardens that will be shared here on our website. You will also receive a personalized School Garden Scorecard that showcases areas that are strong and areas that can be improved - complete with resources, guidance and advice on how to do so.
